Where are the best places for hospital plans?
When an accident happens, and they do, it pays to have some cover for hospital expenses.
South African medical costs are amongst the highest in the world and even a routine treatment in a hospital might cost you a lot of money.
The major difference between a hospital plan and medical aid is that the latter offers cover for your daily medical expenses. Hospital plans do not, and this is what makes them a lot more affordable.
You take care of the small daily medical expenses such as visits to your GP, and the hospital plan takes care of the big expenses incurred in the hospital.
